Project Digital Connection
How the project came about
The Digital Connection project came out of the diagnosis that the Information and Communications Technology market was suffering from a shortage of professionals qualified to use language and technology tools to carry out the activities inherent in the role of web designer. In this segment, such a lack of skilled professionals means there is a need to invest in the development and specific training of people to meet the professionals’ needs.
Given this scenario, and knowing the young graduates of the Nextel Institute, we partnered with AgênciaClick to train people in digital media, so that young graduates of the Direct Connection to the Future program could develop interactive applications become formally documented professionals and / or self-employed in the communications market.
This partnership will facilitate the expansion of the course and educational process at the Nextel Institute, and ensure other employment and income generation opportunities through action developed with companies by Choice Club (the area responsible for youth employment) following the course. It also provides the partner with experience in Corporate Social Responsibility, and it will promote continuing education for the youths, expanding opportunities for their entrance to the labor market.
