Selection Process

The selection process for the Nextel Institute programs takes place twice a year, the first being in mid-April and the second in mid-October, according to the Annual Calendar for the Institutes. It consists of the three steps below:

Step II:

All the candidates participate in a lecture, group dynamics and individual interviews for analysis of social and economic vulnerability and interest in the course. After the interviews, the Evaluation Committee evaluates the profile of the young people according to the Institute’s prerequisites and the interest of the young people in the opportunity.

At this stage only in the Digital Connection Program is evaluation of aptitude for the area carried out.

Step III:

Those who pass receive a telephone call or e-mail stating informing them, and asking them to attend the Institute with their ID, Social Security number, proof of income and address, a photo and statement accompanied by a guardian regardless of whether they are minors or not.

At this stage the family is key in being co-responsible and for motivating educational and professional development of the young people, to keep them on the course through graduation.
